Make your glasses your boldest accessory

Lime neon frames in petite winged glasses, classic rectangular frames in a less classic red/tortoiseshell color combo, or rich emerald green hip granny-style glasses: Etnia Barcelona eyeglasses are anything but standard.

Outstanding, naturally

Using advanced technology, such as nanoflex, unique colors, and selected materials - these are glasses that stand out in every sense. All glasses are made from natural materials, such as cotton, wood, and pure mineral for the glass lenses, but the brand goes much further, making sure they work with only the industry’s best. The acetates are made from cotton, noted for its malleability and comfort, with the Mazzucchelli brand in Milan, the lenses instead are made in Pescara with Berberini - two of the most prestigious brands in the optical sector. All lenses are oleophobic, hydrophobic, antiscratch, and antireflection.

A green soul

A sustainable brand, Etnia Barcelona does everything possible to make their glasses green. They are eliminating single-use plastic from the packaging and are working with recyclable materials, like the cotton used for the case. The protective bag used is made from 100% biodegradable corn starch.

Barcelona born

Etnia Barcelona was born in 2001 in Barcelona - with the idea being to be the most creative and colorful glasses in the optical world. Founder David Pellicer based his first collection solely on color, a rebellion against the mainly black and brown models that were on the market at the time. Using his passion for art and color and his family’s 70 years of experience in the optical world, he set out to create a brand that popped with color against all the other glasses. The history and tradition of the family is reflected in every one of the collections, alongside his love of culture.

Stand out, be bold - make your glasses the focus of your looks and never just an accessory.
