A Contemporary Influence
An Italian brand born from creative director Matteo Pontello’s vision for the exceptional, SoYa eyeglasses radiate a confident gaze.
With the launch of the brand in 2015, Pontello shares his 18 years of experience in luxury eyewear after working at some top brands such as Fendi, Kering eyewear, Sefilo and others.
Showcasing its youthful spirit, the brand name is a play on words of the Italian phrase, così è which translates to so it is. For the designer, these words symbolizes the journey of finding yourself on the right path in life, and so SoYa was born.
Bold and expressive
The eyewear house’s affinity for repeated patterns, shapes and geometry is highlighted with its signature triangle emblem. Placed in the middle of the logo, this shape represents connection and strength, an element which is further visible on many of the brand’s frames. Vertical connection, the label’s tagline, ties it all together, with this phrase representing the three core themes behind all collections: creativity, beauty and intuition.
With its bold optic lenses, these frames unmistakably share the brand’s ethos. Thick acetate rims harmonize against modern cat-eye shapes, while transparent geometric rims provide a futuristic touch.
