Eyewear for the effortlessly cool

Dappled Californian sunlight and hazy beach days are exactly what Garrett Leight sunglasses are made for. The beauty of them is that their relaxed style is perfect for anywhere.

California, here we come

Founder Garrett Leight was born in Los Angeles in 1984 with eyewear design in his blood; he is the son of Oliver Peoples founder, Larry Leight. The brand’s DNA is rooted in Leight’s genuine love affair with California. Inspired by the natural beauty of the region and the dynamic people and cultures that make up the city of LA, these glasses are sleek enough for Beverly Hills but also relaxed enough to sit perfectly with the surfers of Venice Beach.

Premium design with classic silhouettes

This passion for the West Coast is coupled with classically tailored designs and premium manufacturing to create truly beautiful shades. One of the features buyers should look out for are the beautiful light shaded frames, coming in colors like Pure Glass, Butterscotch, Pink Crystal, and Champagne. Glasses include the Brooks Sun, one of the brand’s classic glasses which have remained popular since launching in the first collection. With a square-shaped acetate, they are instantly recognizable by their defined keyhole bridge. Next up is the Calabar Sun - a revamp of a Wayfarer style, and one of Brad Pitt’s favorite shades, has temples inspired by 50s car fins. Finally, the Ace Sun, as worn by Joaquin Phoenix, has bold lines and fine details, like the unmistakable palm leaf plaque on the front.

Glasses with a conscience

Each pair of Garrett Leight glasses are made using the highest quality materials, while working with a family-owned factory in China which promotes both sustainable and ethical production processes. Solar panels are used as an alternative energy source, production wastewater treatment is used with zero-emissions, and the acetate nose pad process is chemical-free.

Slip-on a pair of Garrett Leight’s shades for that effortless laid-back style that Californians seem to be born with.
