Orders
Information about your order
Once you have placed your order on miaburton.com, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to the address supplied.
If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason, we will contact you and send you a refund via wire transfer or PayPal. In the case of necessary alternative arrangements, our Customer Service team will get in touch to guarantee you receive your refund at the earliest possible time.
Prices
The prices displayed at miaburton.com include import duties and taxes. Mia Burton reserves the right to change the price of any product on the website without prior notice. Variations won’t apply on orders that have already been confirmed.
Cancellations
You can request to cancel your order, free of charge, only if the product has not yet been shipped.
If you need to cancel your order, please email your request to help@miaburton.com with your order number.
Manufacturer warranty
Mia Burton abides by the statutory Italian guarantee regulations (DL 24/02), according to which all defective products are covered by the manufacturer warranty for two years. Such warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse. If the item you have received is defective, please contact our Customer Service team promptly for assistance.
Please note that you are responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning products to the manufacturer or supplier for repair or replacement. This also includes the shipping cost for receiving your repaired or replaced product from the manufacturer or supplier.
Cartier frames
All Cartier frames come with a stamped Warranty Certificate, which is not filled out.
If you decide to keep your frames upon arrival and want to ensure the warranty, please fill out the Certificate following these directions:
- M: Your first and last name
- Individual Number: Model code and authenticity code. You can find the authenticity code inside the bridge of your frame or along the temple tips.
- Date of Purchase: MM - YYYY
Please note, that once you fill out the Warranty Certificate, the product is no longer eligible for returns.
Prescription lenses, coatings and warranty
Eyeglass frames on miaburton.com can be also ordered with prescription lenses and personalized coatings.
This service is available in selected countries. If it’s available in your country, you will find a button to select the lenses directly from the product page.
Lens cost
The cost of prescription lenses varies depending on the lens type, thickness, and any additional treatments and is added to the frame price.
You can choose from various customization options when finalizing your order. The cost details are updated step by step with each selected option.
Lens quality
For our prescription glasses, we use only premium quality lenses.
You can choose the thickness of the lenses and also purchase optional customizations such as anti-reflective, anti-blue light and photochromic coatings.
Delivery times for prescription and custom lenses
Creating custom prescription lenses takes 3 to 6 days, which is in addition to the shipping time of the frame.
If you choose to send the prescription via email after completing the order, additional days may be needed.
We will inform you of the actual delivery date via email, along with the order confirmation.
Mia Burton Lens Care warranty against accidental damage
Mia Burton Lens Care is an optional extended warranty that covers the risk of accidental damage to prescription and custom lenses, plus any technical service, repair and replacement.
How Mia Burton Lens Care works
If a lens covered by Mia Burton Lens Care accidentally breaks, cracks or is damaged in a way that compromises your vision, you can get up to two replacements or repairs at no additional cost.
When the accident occurs, contact us right away with your Mia Burton Lens Care receipt on hand to activate the service procedure. We'll ask you for some details about the lenses under warranty and the damage, we’ll then schedule a pickup for the glasses so we can replace the lenses.
What is excluded from the warranty
This warranty does not cover:
- damage to the frame (and generally to eyeglass parts or accessories other than the lenses)
- intentional damage or damage caused by improper use of the glasses or lenses, modifications or alterations
- damage that does not prevent proper vision, such as fine cracks, scratches, or minor abrasions
- any work, repairs or replacements not made by Mia Burton
- the loss or theft of the lenses
- damage due to defects in design or concerning materials (this is already covered by the legal consumer protection warranty).

Delivery
Shipping information
Mia Burton offers free standard shipping on all orders.
For select products, you can also choose express shipping at an additional cost for faster delivery.
Shipping options and estimated delivery times are shown on each product page.
If express shipping is available, the cost will be calculated at checkout.
Prices include import duties and taxes. No additional costs will be charged at delivery.
All items are carefully packaged inside the official Mia Burton box, together with their official packaging.
Unsupported delivery destinations: To see if we ship to your country, select it from the top navigation bar or footer (on mobile).
Shipping update – Middle East
Due to the recent conflict in the Middle East, delays or delivery limitations may occur for shipments to the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar. Shipments continue to reach local DHL hubs regularly, as current airspace restrictions do not affect commercial traffic. However, final delivery to the recipient cannot be guaranteed at this time.

Delivery times
Delivery times vary depending on the item and are always displayed on each product page. Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail including the expected delivery details. We will also send you the link and tracking number to follow the shipment at any time.
If you make an order after 12:00 PM (CET), on Saturday and Sunday, or during national holidays, it will be processed on the next business day.
Our Customer Service team will notify you promptly regarding any unexpected delays.
Delivery times for custom lenses
Requesting custom lenses takes 3 to 6 days (depending on the prescription and any extra treatments, such as blue light filter), which is in addition to the shipping time of the frame. If you choose to send the prescription via email after completing the order, additional days may be needed.
We will inform you of the actual delivery date via email, along with the order confirmation.
Payments
Credit card
You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners & Discovery and China UnionPay through our secure encrypted system. Payment will be taken as soon as your order is confirmed.
PayPal
When paying by PayPal, please make sure that there are enough funds to cover your purchase. We reserve the right to check the validity of your account and billing address before shipping your order.
You can also choose to pay by installments with Paypal, with zero interest and at no extra cost.
This method is free of charge. PayPal will not share the details of your credit card or bank account with Mia Burton.
Google Pay
To pay with Google Pay you’ll first need to link a credit/debit card to your Google Pay app.
If the payment doesn’t work, we suggest you contact your bank or the institute that manages the card associated with your Google Pay.
Apple Pay
You can pay with Apple Pay exclusively through visiting miaburton.com on Safari with your iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac or iPad. It is not available on Android devices.
To pay with Apple Pay, you will first need to add a credit, debit or prepaid card to the Wallet on your Apple device.
If the payment doesn’t work, we suggest you contact your bank or the institute that manages the card associated with your Apple Wallet.
Scalapay (only in selected countries)
This option allows you to buy now and pay later over three installments, without any interest. The payments will be taken from your credit card. To use this method of payment you will have to provide a valid phone number and register to Scalapay. The registration is free of charge and takes only 2 minutes to complete.
Buying with Scalapay, you acknowledge that the installments will be transferred to Incremento SPV S.r.l., to related parties and their assignees, and that you authorize such transfer.
The service is currently available in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Spain, Finland, Portugal.
If your purchase is not eligible, you will only see the other methods of payment at checkout.
Klarna (available in select countries)
You can flexibly pay for your order with Klarna. The service offers different ways to schedule payments. These options vary by country.

Wire Transfer
If you select this option, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a review of your order, together with our bank details. You will need to complete the payment and send the receipt to help@miaburton.com within 48 hours of the confirmation. Otherwise, your order will automatically be cancelled.
Items will be shipped once payment has been received in full.
Payment by wire transfer is not available for customers with delivery address registered in the United States.
Alipay (available in selected countries)
Make sure you already have an account registered with Alipay before using it as a payment method. Registering for an account is simple and takes a few minutes.
This service is available in selected countries. If it’s available in your country, you will find a button to select this payment method at checkout.
Coupon codes
If you have a coupon code, you can enter it before proceeding to checkout. Unless specified, coupon codes cannot be combined with other ongoing promotions or offers.
Virtual Gift Cards
Virtual Gift Cards are redeemable exclusively online on miaburton.com. A Virtual Gift Card code will be sent to the email address entered in the form at the time of purchase, and only the owner of that email address (recipient) will be entitled to use the Virtual Gift Card. Mia Burton shall not be held responsible if a Virtual Gift Card is sent to an incorrect or incomplete email address provided by the purchaser.
The virtual Gift Card cannot be purchased together with other products. It must be bought separately.
Validity and terms of use
The Virtual Gift Card is valid for 12 (twelve) months from the delivery date. The virtual Gift Card is valid for 12 (twelve) months from the delivery date. It must be redeemed in full, in a single transaction, for orders equal to or greater than the value of the virtual Gift Card. Partial use is not permitted.
Purchases made using a Virtual Gift Card must be in the same currency in which the card was issued. Currency exchange will not be available after purchase.
Only one Virtual Gift Card code can be used per order. It may be combined with only one other coupon, such as the Welcome Coupon or other discount codes, provided that the final order total remains equal to or greater than the value of the virtual Gift Card after the discount is applied.
A Virtual Gift Card cannot be used to purchase another Virtual Gift Card and is not redeemable for cash or store credit.
The Virtual Gift Card does not cover express shipping charges, which must be paid separately.
Mia Burton reserves the right to refuse orders placed using Virtual Gift Cards that are invalid, fraudulent, or show signs of code duplication.
Delivery
Virtual Gift Cards with a delivery date matching the purchase date will be sent within 2 (two) hours of payment confirmation. Virtual Gift Cards with a future delivery date will be sent on the selected date.
Return policy
Our customers’ satisfaction is our priority, especially when buying prescription glasses online.
At Mia Burton, you can return eligible products within 30 days of delivery.
This applies to:
• Frames
• Complete glasses (frames + prescription or non-prescription custom lenses).
For frames with progressive lenses, the return period is extended to 60 days from delivery.
This allows you to try progressive lenses without rushing and gives you the time needed to adapt to them.
Important note: Return policies may vary for certain products. When this applies, it is stated in the product description. Please check these details before completing your purchase.
Prescription Accuracy Guarantee
In addition to our return policy, we offer an extra layer of protection for customers buying prescription glasses.
If your lenses do not match the prescription you provided due to a verified manufacturing error on our side, we will refund the full cost of the lenses.
No need to return the complete pair.
To validate the discrepancy, you must provide a printed measurement report from a qualified optician. In case of a confirmed manufacturing error, we will issue a refund for the lenses.
Returns eligibility
To be eligible for a refund, products must be:
• Clean
• Unworn
• With the security tag attached
• In their original packaging
Once received and inspected, eligible refunds will be processed according to our refund terms below.
Express shipping costs are non-refundable.
Special return conditions for Cartier frames
All Cartier frames come with a stamped Warranty Certificate.
Please note that once you fill out the Warranty Certificate, the product is no longer eligible for returns.
If you return Cartier frames with the Warranty Certificate filled out, we cannot accept them. You will be charged for the return shipping fees.
Gift Card refunds and returns
Customers may request a refund for a Virtual Gift Card only if it has not been used, within 14 (fourteen) days of purchase, by writing to help@miaburton.com and specifying the order number. Only the purchaser may request a refund; the recipient is not eligible to do so. The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase. Virtual Gift Cards that have already been redeemed, even partially, cannot be refunded.
Orders placed using Virtual Gift Cards may be returned. The value of returned items will be credited back to the Virtual Gift Card. If the total payment exceeds the value of the Virtual Gift Card, the remaining amount will be refunded using the same payment method used for the purchase.
How to return items
- Pack the item securely, using the original packaging where possible.
- Attach the pre-paid label included with your order.
- Check the carrier indicated on the label and drop off the package at the nearest collection point. You can find it on the carrier's website.
- Wait for our confirmation email.

How to return an order placed with a Virtual Gift Card
If the order was placed by a registered user, returns can be managed directly through the customer account. A confirmation email with further instructions will be sent.
If the order was placed as a guest, please write to help@miaburton.com, specifying the order number, the Virtual Gift Card code, and the items you wish to return. The customer service team will respond with instructions on how to proceed.
Return cost
Returns are free of charge, except for purchases from the Netherlands, Germany, UK or Canada.
For these countries, returns remain free provided you keep at least one product from your order. If you return your entire order, a €10 fee will be charged for each returned item.
Refunds
Once we receive your returned items, we will send you a confirmation e-mail; you can then expect your refund within 20 business days.
Please note that you are responsible for the returned item until it reaches our warehouse.
Items that are worn, damaged or without their security tag or original packaging will not be refunded.
Our Pre-loved Program
Pre-loved is our circular fashion program, which gives a second life to the eyewear you don’t use. In exchange for your frames, you will receive a coupon code of 30 euros to spend on miaburton.com.
The program is currently only available for those who reside in Europe. You can find more information here.
Participation Requirements
You can participate if you reside in Europe.
Your used eyewear can be either sun or optical frames, from any brand. The important thing is that the frames have a CE mark, which certifies compliance with European safety regulations. The frames must also be in a suitable condition so that they can be resold, or refurbished by our opticians and donated to nonprofit organizations.
Mia Burton reserves the right to refuse a frame at its discretion. Requests from outside of Europe will not be considered.
How To Participate
- Fill out the form on our Pre-loved page, attaching quality photos of the frame you are sending. Make sure the photos contain the frame’s front and side profile.
- Our team will evaluate the submission and send you an email. We aim to respond to Pre-loved submissions within 7 working days.
- If our evaluation is positive, we will ask you to send us your details including your address and how you prefer to send your used frames (whether by courier pickup or delivery to DHL point). Shipping is free of charge and paid for by Mia Burton. You will receive further instructions in the email.
- When your used frames arrive at our warehouse, we will recheck that they match the photos and meet program requirements. Once the frames pass the second check, you will receive the 30 euro coupon code by email.
Conditions of Use for Pre-Loved Coupon Codes
Pre-loved coupons are valid for one use only, within 12 months of issue.
You can also apply them to products already on sale.
They cannot be combined with:
- Other Pre-loved coupon codes (you can only use one Pre-loved coupon per order)
- Other coupons
Used Frame Returns
Used frames sent to miaburton.com cannot be returned.
