Let your spirit shine

Put on a pair of Gucci eyeglasses and be the style influencer in the room. Frames in the collections are unmistakable design pieces with a luxurious edge.

A changing icon

From fine-leather goods brand to global fashion house, Gucci has changed dramatically over the last 90 years. Guccio Gucci first started the leather goods’ brand in Florence, and it quickly became a massive success, with gloves, belts, and wallets being added to the collection in the late 30s and the infamous Gucci loafer launching in the 1950s. But it wasn’t until Tom Ford became Creative Director in 1994 that the company branched out, with the introduction of colognes, watches, and the eyewear lines.

The mismatched beauty of today’s Gucci

After Tom Ford left the company, Italian designer Alessandro Michele took over. The two designers’ aesthetics couldn’t have been more opposed: Ford’s clean and tidy silhouettes were replaced by Michele’s clashing prints and periods. This precise uniqueness in Michele’s vision has brought a real edge to Gucci and modern luxury itself: eccentric, eclectic, striking. And Gucci’s glasses are the perfect completion of Michele’s signature outfits.

Italian craftsmanship and quality

“Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten”. This was the first-ever tagline of Gucci and it is still relevant to the brand today. All glasses are made with rigorous attention to detail and fine Italian craftsmanship. Materials are carefully selected to ensure outstanding quality, with frames being made from materials such as acetate and metal and boxed in elegant cases.

Choose from classic tortoiseshell patterns or be eye-catching with one of the archetypal Gucci designs. These are versatile glasses for true individuals.
