The Barbie movie has only released two teaser trailers, but it already has the internet buzzing - our team already has its release date, July 21, saved on their calendars. Toting an impressive star-studded cast, ‘Barbie’ features Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, along with a top-billed lineup that includes Issa Rae, America Ferrara, Will Ferrell, Simu Liu, Emma Mackey and Michael Cera.

The latest trailer hasn't leaked any major plot spoilers (if you haven’t seen it, scroll to the end of this article). Yet, in mere minutes since its release, the searches for Barbie and Ken outfits from the movie have skyrocketed. From Margot Robbie’s fuchsia cowgirl look to Ryan Gosling’s neon roller blades, one thing is certain: this movie will be a visual feast of stylish looks and iconic fits.

And as eyewear experts, it’s only natural that we saw the outfits and immediately imagined which sunglasses would be the perfect match. Though we’re still three months aways from the official release, it’s not too early to get the Barbie-approved look. Channeling the film’s playfully cartoonish energy, we’ve curated a list of matching sunglasses that are inspired by the trailer’s most iconic fashion moments.

Barbie’s classic black and white swimsuit

Channel Barbie’s original look from the movie’s first trailer with a pair of chunky white cat-eye sunglasses like these trendy ones from Prada.

For an alternative version of the retro cat-eye, head to these statement frames from Balenciaga.

Barbie’s vintage pink gingham dress

Go beachy in Jacques Marie Mage’s pink Fontainebleau 2 sunglasses, or opt for Chloé’s whimsical floral-inspired frames for that perfect candy-colored Barbie touch.

Ken’s pastel striped beach set

Is Ken’s pastel beach set a little too bold for you? Go for pastel sunglasses, like these fish-shaped ones from Eyepetizer or these oversized ones from Versace.

Barbie’s all-pink jumpsuit

Utilitarian style is given a sweetened edge with Barbie’s pink jumpsuit. For a loud twist, opt for Saint Laurent’s iconic Loulou shades.

Similar to the ones Ariana Greenblatt wears in the scene, go for these pink cat-eye sunglasses from Balenciaga.

Barbie’s cowgirl outfit

Go for Barbie’s all-fuschia western feel with these bright sunglasses from Versace, or craft a more Y2K look in these rimless frames from Dolce & Gabbana.

Ken’s blue denim vest

Ryan Gosling channels ‘90s Ken with his denim vest. Get his boyish vibe in this oversized aviator style from Alexander McQueen.

If you’re not into oversized frames, these mask sunglasses from Balenciaga are an ideal alternative.

Ken’s pastel Hawaiian shirt

Barbie’s retro blue-striped halter

If Barbie wore sunglasses in this scene, Cutler and Gross’s chunky bright blue shades would be the perfect option. Inspired by the brand’s ‘80s archives, they bring the same retro feel as her striped halter and polka-dot headband.

For a sleeker touch, Bottega Veneta’s baby blue cat-eyes are just as playful but less oversized and more streamlined.
