Return policy
Mia Burton offers free returns on all products purchased on the website, including lenses, within 30 days of delivery.
The cost of express shipping is non-refundable.
If you are purchasing from the Netherlands or Germany, the following exceptions apply:
- Returns are free of charge as long as you keep at least one product from your order.
- However, if you return your entire order, a 10€ fee will be charged for each item returned. We will deduct the fee from your refund.
To be refunded, products must be returned clean, unworn, and with their security tag still on. We will check them once we receive them, and if they are eligible for a refund, we will send you a confirmation email. The refund will be credited into your account within the next 20 days.
Important note: Return policies may vary for certain products. When this applies, it is stated in the product description. Please check these details before completing your purchase.
Extended Returns for Black Friday and Holiday Season
For purchases made from Black Friday to December 20th, 2025, you can request a return until January 31st, 2026.
Lens return conditions
A return of custom lenses for a refund is permitted only in the case of a verified manufacturing error, where the lenses were not made to match the exact specifications of your prescription.
To validate this, you must provide a printed measurement report from a qualified optician that confirms the variance. We will review this report and, upon confirmation of an error in our workmanship, issue a refund for the cost of the lenses.
Returns are always accepted for defective products in accordance with warranty laws.
Returning a Cartier frame
All Cartier frames come with a stamped Warranty Certificate. Please note, that once you fill out the Warranty Certificate, the product is no longer eligible for returns.
If you return Cartier frames with the Warranty Certificate filled out, we cannot accept them. You will be charged on behalf of the return shipment fees.
How to return items
Please follow these steps:
- Pack the item securely, using the original packaging where possible.
- Attach the pre-paid label included with your order.
- Check the carrier indicated on the label and drop off the package at the nearest collection point. You can find it on the carrier's website.
- Wait for our confirmation email.

Refunds
Once we receive your returned items, we will send you a confirmation e-mail; you can then expect your refund within 20 business days.
Please note that the responsibility of the item to be returned is yours until it reaches us.
Items that are worn, damaged or without their security tag or original packaging will not be refunded.
