Launched by Federica Moretti in 2017, Huma was created to make eyewear become a real jewel in its own right. Moretti is a modern designer who has studied in both Milan and New York, and she is committed to producing extraordinary opticals by designing and manufacturing all collections in Italy according to the highest quality standards.
The designs are geometric, graphic and striking but are made for the everyday by their pairing with muted tones. Sunglass shapes include classic old-school rectangular silhouettes with an oversized fit, Audrey Hepburn-esque glossy black acetate frames, and vintage designs in opaline pink and ivory - just to name a few. There are also avant-garde cat-eye shaped glasses with ultra-flat lenses, and then there are the shades that throw a thoroughly 90s aesthetics with their narrow bug-eye shape.
