Mr. Leight Eyeglasses
Classics with unquestionable style
Son and father duo, Larry and Garrett Leight, have come together to create Mr. Leight eyeglasses. Designing frames that are exquisitely crafted, extremely cool and effortlessly Californian.
Designed in California with love, Made in Japan with care
The eyewear brand’s innovative approach and thoughtful design are enhanced by the sourcing of precious, traditional materials and increasingly rare handcrafted techniques. Drawing on their Southern Californian upbringings for inspiration, the pair bring their ideas to life by having their glasses entirely hand-finished in Japan. The high level of craftsmanship allows them to include finishing details such as exposed coil temples made from titanium for added flexibility and improved fit, unique hexagonal rivets to strengthen the three-barrel hinges, and titanium frames which are offered in an elegant array of exclusive precious metal plating colors. Furthermore, they have developed an original acetate palette with one of the most respected Japanese acetate houses.
Styles include P3 frames with intricate details and coming in colors such as matte black, maple and antique gold, orintage-inflected cat-eye acetate frames featuring titanium along the bridge and temples. There are balanced square silhouettes which have been inspired by Hollywood eyewear, with colors including caramel tortoise and matte platinum. Finally there are the oversized square frames which hark back to the era of everyday glamour.
This eyewear collaboration between father and son bridges the gap between their differing design and brand experience. It is a passion brand and their love of eyewear and style is clear to see.
